BACKGROUND

I attended Vancouver Film School with a partial scholarship. There, I completed the 3D Animationand Visual Effects course with a focus on 3Dmodeling and sculpture.

After graduating, I was hired at the fast-paced VFX studio, Motion Theory. There, I worked primarily as a concept artist and designer on commercials and music videos.

Later, the East Coast called with an opportunity in the games industry at Irrational Games. They provided me with a position in-house as a concept artist on“Bioshock Infinite". I have since moved on to work as a contract talent. My most recent work can be found in Uber Entertainment’s “Super Monday Night Combat”.

SKILLS

In my professional capacity, I can wear many hats and navigate through art pipelines with ease. Primarily, I am a concept artist that can hit gritty realism, edgy stylization or a variety of bubbly,cartoony types of work.

My skillset branches out into 3D with box modeling,sculpting and texturing. I have been known to provide storyboards, and vector, graphic design assets as well.

I truly enjoy and am good at collaborating with others in and out of my department.

At the end of the day, I am grateful to be surrounded by my brilliant peers, gainfully employed in an exciting, ever evolving industry.

I have a menagerie of hobbies that ground me and remind me of why I’m here and where I want to go in the industry and life. Roller Derby is one of them.

At my core, I am a nurturing and firm leader, a collaborator and an enabler for constructive solutions. Someday, I would like to see this come full circle and be the one leading a team to create efficiently designed immersive and beautiful experiences.

Until then, I am happy to be learning something new every day.
